30 year anniversary of when my roommates and I started a war with the frat house next door, got them evicted and then took the loot they left behind. I’ve dragged these drill bits all over the country and obviously don’t do much drilling because most of them are still sharp.

Ben H. Winter's new book BIG TIME, and it's really good so far. It is lean, so perfect for those who hate padding in their stories. I don't want to give away the premise, so I will just say that it's a bit of a thriller that involves time itself.

Been around the Hmong in NorCal all my life and knew a bit of their history, but this book is eye opening. My son read it for a high school English class last year and was surprised I had not read it.

Just learned that Wayne Kramer has died. What a ripper. A true legend who turned his life around and worked to improve the lives of others. Highly recommend reading his biography.

Enjoyed seeing all of the creatures during our trip: sloths, coatis, capuchin and howler monkeys, agouti, toucans, hummingbirds, peccary, iguanas, and the big-ass anteater we saw climbing.

But really, I could just watch these leafcutter work all day.

@flexghost Martin vs Boise set precedent that cities (states in this case?) cannot enforce anti-camping laws unless they provide enough beds to shelter people.

Chico, CA (where I live) tried to enforce a law similar to Boise’s and we now at least have better and more shelters after Chico got shellacked in court.

Oklahoma can prepare for a costly lawsuit.
