@markwyner We went to the punk museum in Reykjavik last year and, unsurprisingly, they were playing some of the music and videos then, plus there was loads of newspaper and magazine prints of them on the walls.

Randomly selected something from our Amazon Prime movie queue - we add any old movie with average IMDb ratings that look interesting or terrible for some reason - so we're now watching Brain Dead, a 1990 Bill Pullman and Bill Paxton picture. Early thoughts are that for something connected to Roger Corman it's surprisingly well-directed and atmospheric; there's something almost Gilliam's Brazil about it.

    Watching and they're covering news coverage of the national phone alert most of us had to endure last weekend. "What life threatening emergencies will we face?" ask one of the couples. Indeed. The UK's not exactly renowned for its tsunamis, earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, hurricanes, or wildfires. But its moments of heightened caution in the run-ups to elections? Oh, those it has plenty of.

    Confession time: I quite liked Pat and Mick. I think they covered tracks I already liked which helped a lot. Used to love watching Night Network with Mick Brown on it back in the day.

    No real reason other than I was searching for something else, spotted a post about the people, remembered our visit to , and felt like sharing the we saw there in 2019. Similar to the but older, this is 181 metres high, dates from around 200BCE, and can be seen from 20km away at sea.
