I am unsure why using Chrome feels so clunky nowadays. I am not the biggest Edge fan but it seems better than chrome. Did I miss a browser memo? Should I be using a different browser nowadays?

He's setting himself up to be the platform for the next Jan 6, but doing it in a way that can be utterly compromised if he wills it, so he can access and inform if he chooses.

Random reminder, folks: Mastodon DMs are not encrypted. Server owner and their designees can see them if they choose. Keep sensitive stuff to Signal or similar.

(Not necessarily a criticism - instances create liability, and liability requires some mitigation. But something to be aware of and make sure others are aware of when using the platform.)
