@lunareclipse the fun part about neurotransmitters is that they're weird and all of them can potentially do different things depending on where they are in the nervous system. Like for example serotonin can regulate mood and facilitate relaxation while simultaneously letting you taste food and controlling your guts. Dopamine can make you feel pleasure but it can also regulate attention and play a crucial role in controlling movement. Acetylocholine can do.. basically anything really who the fuck knows

@lunareclipse it's only the main neurotransmitter of the sympathetic nervous system meaning it does a shitload of things lmao
Mainly associated with the "fight or flight" response. Slows down digestion, increases blood flow to muscles, dilates pupils, increases heart rate and rate of breathing.. all that good stuff. It also does stuff in the central nervous system but I'm not sure exactly what it does there
