Just a quick reminder that you don't have to be binary trans to get on HRT. Heck, you don't even have to be leaning strongly towards any particular side! I mostly take feminising HRT to have a more androgynous body and that's valid too. It's your body, do whatever you want with it :neofox_heart:

@skye Not all non-medical drugs are created equal. And banning substances in general doesn't actually prevent people from taking them. The best thing to do would be to actually educate people on how different substances work and what risks they carry.

So a few days ago I got myself my first pair of Bluetooth headphones in years just to have something a bit more comfortable for listening to music while commuting. Fuck, I didn't realize that these things could be so helpful for dealing with chores. I normally really struggle with washing my dishes cause I have to do it in a communal kitchen where I get anxious and under-stimulated and while music definitely helps with that, the wires from my wired headphones get in the way too much for me to actually use them there. Same for stuff like cleaning up my room.. I feel like I just discovered some new accessibility device and I wasn't expecting that at all!

Fun fact: the symbols we use as the apostrophe and quotation marks here on the internet are actually the inch and feet symbols and you won't see those symbols used like this in print. In professional print you'll most commonly see some version of curly quotation marks and a curly apostrophe instead, much like the ones we used to use in cursive handwriting. We started using " and ' when typing due to the limitations of mechanical typewriters and it's something that's stuck with us into the age of computers. In fact, many modern text editors will automatically convert these symbols into the curly versions but most websites simply don't bother with implementing features like this.

The rich and their corporations regularly commit extremely severe, large-scale crimes that usually go practically unpunished while regular people just trying to survive can face dire consequences for simply stealing some groceries.

Don't snitch on small time thieves, drug users, graffiti artists and other normal people just trying to cope with living in an overwhelmingly oppressive world. They're not the villains here.
