For better or worse, I’m on a Mastodon server by myself. And I have a couple Masto tech
questions!

  1. Is it normal to never see how many favs someone’s post has? It’s always zero. (I miss that, it’s nice to see what resonates with people.)
  2. I also sometimes don’t see all (most?) of the replies on someone’s tweet. Also normal? What dictates the ones I see?

you get a message in Slack with a link to the Confluence doc to prep for the meeting on Zoom, where you take notes in Notion, and track project progress on Monday and then update the Trello and you get to the end of the week and instead of doing fucking anything you've just moved bits of information around in 17 different databases and each one costs $15 a month per user...

Today I found out “Liquid Death” (https://liquiddeath.com/collections/beverages) is not, as I had naturally assumed, some kind of massively caffeinated and/or sugared energy drink. It’s just regular old water, in a metal can. Some varieties have flavoring, but it’s still just water. Still water. That’s it. And I cannot figure out how I should feel about this.

@JsonCulverhouse @Flipboard ah, sure thing -- some posts (with media?) are boosted into the timeline without attribution of who boosted; then, when diving into the post, you don't see the text/thread of the boosted post, you create a new post mentioning the booster. in order to see or respond to the boosted post, you have to navigate into the OP's profile and find the post there
