just a thought: what if the other projects are all wrong.. and the order should be in the frequency of the usage.. who knows.. I mostly "like" thats why like as the first was good. but I can live with the new order

Hello..

If I want to stop someone from commenting on my posts... would I block, ignore or collapse that user... ? I don't want to block everything, just commenting on my posts.

Or, would it be possible to have an option to "close comments" when it gets to much? I don't know if that would be possible because of the other networks, diaspora, etc..

Otherwise my only option is to delete every single comment or delete the post, and maybe that is just what the person wants..

in my logs there are many db errors now..

i believe they are all like this one:

maybe something missing in the latest update with the comments?

In meiner Timeline hier bei Friendica tauchen immer Beiträge von Usern auf, denen ich nicht folge. Es existieren auch keine Hashtags, die ich abonniert habe. Ebenso wenig sind das geteilte Beiträge, von Usern aus meinen Kontakten.
Wieso werden mir diese Beiträge in der Timeline angezeigt?

@wesen irgendwo war eine einstellung, welche beiträge man erhalten möchte. welche mit denen man selbst interagiert hat, oder welche, die deine kontakte kommentiert oder geliked haben und dann noch eine, bei der man noch mehr erhält. ich finde die option gerade nicht mehr. wenn du da aber nichts verstellt hast, solltest du, glaube ich, nur beiträge bekommen mit denen deine kontakte interagiert haben.
vielleicht meldet sich noch jemand der es genau weiß..

The way how diaspora displays "quote shared" posts, does friendica have an influence on that? I do not really like the way is is displayed, without post image and with the large avatar picture on the bottom, etc...

Currently, my friendica often loads very slow or times out, but only on my smartphone .. Other websites load fast there. On my PC, friendica loads faster.

Only explanation I can imagine, is that the smartphone has less cpu power for the javascript.. or what could that be? I don't understand it. It is both over the same router.

When one of my mastodon contacts reshares a post, it seems, these posts don't appear in my 'network' - 'stream' is that normal or am I missing a setting perhaps?

I have to go to the contacts page and 'like' a post. then it shows up in my stream.
