Ich winde mich immer wenn jemand "danke dafür" sagt.

Oft ist es einfach monoton an einen Bericht über jemanden angehängt. So monoton, dass ich den Eindruck habe, dass der Sprecher eigentlich lieber nicht wertschätzen wollen würde.

Mir fällt das erst seit ein paar Jahren auf. Gab es das vorher nicht?

Almost everyone who says "Mastodon didn't work for me" on Bluesky seems to have posted only "me me me" stuff for months (if that) on Mastodon, followed about 10-20 people, never replied to anyone and then gave up because "nobody there, it didn't fly".

It seems there is a big misunderstanding how this free and healthy social media works. We are not here for the easy wins, likes, shares and dopamine spikes. We are here because we accept the fact we are not part of the commercial hype machine. We choose natural engagement over spoiling algorithms, we choose conversation and meaning in our social media. At least that is how I see it.

I think, mastodon does not work for them because nobody found a way to measure how it works.

Counting hits, followers, boosts, favorites - it all fails here.

For me, it is successful. I mostly follow hashtags, use the search a lot to get updates about events or locations. After some time I unsubscribe from these topics and pick new ones.

The few people I do follow just spice up my mostly themed timeline.

It works. But how would I measure it? I don't even want it to be measured.

Ironisch und traurig. Vielleicht ist es ein indirekter Stellenabbau und man möchte einfach die Mitarbeiter nötigen von allein zu kündigen. Dann wäre es schon fast klever.

"GPTs werden zu den No. 1 Google Content-Spammern"

Keine Angst, ich spamme niemanden zu, produziere aber ein tgl. Format, dessen Inhalte komplett durch ChatGPT erstellt werden & mit nem Bulk-Prozess umgesetzt werden.

Zeitlicher Aufwand? Ca. 1h um Content fuer 20 Tage zu produzieren.

Am 17. Mai 2024 sehen wir, ob das klappt oder nicht!

Ich fand es vor KI generierten Content schon schlimm:
Hat man nach z.b. "optimaler Standort für Pflanze X" gesucht, ist man auf mit Werbung zugepflasterten Seiten gelandet. Nach einer Ewigkeit festgestellt, dass da viel Text über die Pflanze stand, aber nichts hilfteiches.
Zurück zur Suche, nächste Ergebnis angeklickt, viel Werbung und wieder fest stellen dass es im Grunde derselbe Text vom Ergebnis vorher war. Widergekäuter Content.

Ergebnis: nix gelernt, nur Zeit verschwendet 🤬
