I'm aware of the reports of Dead by Daylight now working on Steam Deck / Linux with Proton.

Haven't reported on it, as it wouldn't be the first time, and usually breaks again days later. This happens repeatedly with it and other games.

    The “ with a ” thing is interesting. This obviously works best for , that have a natural advantage when it comes to . In fact, some platforms like have built-in support for this, allowing the reader to read chapters with specifically-designed background music. Other comics, or webcomics published on other platforms or intended for a wider distribution, usually take a more “conservative” approach.

    This is a very classic approach to soundtracks in comics. So classic in fact that Garry Trudeau takes a jab at it in , for example when JJ leaves Mike and the reverend has to ask him to turn down the volume on Streisand's “The Way We Were”

    An example comes from one of the comics that I plan to talk about during the next webcomic day, “The Challenges of Zona” by J.E. Draft.
    Music plays (eh) a central role in this comic, but since it's mostly classics, and the songs aren't a background soundtrack as much as an integral part of the story, the comic can rely on reader's knowledge (or willingness to look things up) to map the sung words to the music.

    @Haijo7 my objection to QT isn't that it can be used to spread hate, but that most of the time it's useless, as I explained here <https://sociale.network/@oblomov/110295070442405889>. The Improved preview of linked toots (without an explicit button/action to do a QT) would satisfy most uses cases, including the “Boost with CW” and without needing additional special support from other platforms.
    (Boost with alt text is a different matter, I'm not sure how it could be designed.)
