paraphrand,

I personally think there must be some truth to the phenomenon as a whole. But I can’t stand the grifters who sidle up seeking attention or money after a time.

paraphrand,

It’s been said the pain of the bamboozle is too much for most to acknowledge so they continue to double down on it. The great grifters and conmen know this and use it to their advantage.

People in the UFO scene do the same with their grifters.

paraphrand,

Passing bucks around is what capitalism is all about!

paraphrand,

These companies are constantly mislabeling these networks every generation. They are addicted to advertising bullshit.

paraphrand,

#3. The workplace is not a place for politics.

Then stop making deals with political entities.

Politics is about power and who should have it.

Google is very much dealing with politics in the workplace.

I wish people understood the definitions of words and “politics” wasn’t just anything one does not like.

Google should also stop having politics be part of their work by dropping all lobbyists too. Stop actively trying to influence those in power and who should be in power and what power those in power have. politics.

Wisconsin attorney general files felony charges against attorneys, aide who worked for Trump in 2020 (apnews.com)

Wisconsin Attorney General Josh Kaul filed felony forgery charges Tuesday against two attorneys and an aide who helped submit paperwork falsely saying that former President Donald Trump had won the battleground state in 2020....

Wisconsin Attorney General Josh Kaul, a Democrat, didn’t rule out filing more charges, including against the 10 fake electors, saying that the investigation is ongoing.

“Our approach has been focused on following the facts where they lead,” he said at a news conference.

paraphrand,

“Well work to make this as safe as we can. Right up to the point where it starts to cut into profit potential.”

paraphrand,

Oh, interesting. The ratios change a lot every week. I see.

What is this medium blog nonsense with a nonsense headline?

The last time this was posted people pointed out this therapy isn’t new, as far as I remember.

This is blog spam. I saw no citations about any insulin companies being angry.

paraphrand,

It’s because doing the right thing when it comes to algorithmic social spaces means destroying the golden goose.

paraphrand,

They tried to buy ARM recently to beef it up, too.

paraphrand,

No, it’s just like Dungeons and Dragons, according to others in this thread.

paraphrand,

I think there is plenty of room on news websites for a few of them to cover this.

paraphrand,

Lemmy is so fucking cynical.

paraphrand,

This is why we hear about this same thing happening with Linux distros all the time.

paraphrand,

Ohh, I see. That totally went over my head. You’re totally right.

paraphrand,

“Journalists and publishers of information about SEO and Google Search need to stop uncritically repeating Google’s public statements, and take a much harsher, more adversarial view of the search giant’s representatives,” Fishkin says. “When publications repeat Google’s claims as though they are fact, they’re helping Google spin a story that’s only useful to the company and not to practitioners, users, or the public.”

Yes.

paraphrand,

Yes. And most people end up with it in a bundle.
