    @paul_ipv6 and umich is a biggie, with a huge medical center. i have a lot of respect for andy palms, who's in charge of infrastructure. we're all dying to know what they're contending with. they've been pretty tight-lipped so far.

    2FA is enforced, but I recall Jon Oberheide’s injection attack on the umich single-signon that sidestepped all that …

    umich is blocking port 22 from outside the perimeter, but it works over the VPN, which is one way to impose 2FA on external SSH clients.

    still radio silence from ITS but i am half expecting a system-wide pass phrase reset any day now.
