@gedeonm looked at all the cars you mention and ended up going with LexusNX Hybrid. Same close-able sunroof. Absolutely love this car.

For better or worse, I’m on a Mastodon server by myself. And I have a couple Masto tech
questions!

  1. Is it normal to never see how many favs someone’s post has? It’s always zero. (I miss that, it’s nice to see what resonates with people.)
  2. I also sometimes don’t see all (most?) of the replies on someone’s tweet. Also normal? What dictates the ones I see?

@cabel yes that’s normal but it’s indeed a bad experience that’s why we fixed it in mammoth - which will show you engagement metrics in your timeline. ;)

@renchap @cabel yes triggered by any sort of deceleration on the timeline scroll. Still need to add a slick animation to it. But it’s gets the job done.

In case you’re wondering about the effects of the Boeing groundings since the blown out door incident:

Mother in law ended up waiting on hold with @AlaskaAir for 7 (seven) hours today because of 737-MAX9 cancellations, trying to get a new flight home.

@sdw I wish I was in n hold for seven hours. Instead I got hung up on after waiting an hour then another hour then two hours then half hour.... terrrrrrible customer service.

They cancelled our flight 9 hours before take off then after wondering what we should do for 3 hours they rebooked us for a flight 2 days later. So we had to call / cancel and rebooked through JetBlue.
