Hey Britons living abroad!

Our independent financial advisor wants to shove us off his books because we no longer live in the UK and Brexit makes it onerous for him to invest our pensions.

We're looking for a pension platform where we can stick the money into a low-load index tracker. MyExpatSIPP looked promising, but they've been a nightmare.

Anyone have PERSONAL EXPERIENCE (e.g. not something you've heard) with a platform or IFA that'll deal with expats?

pluralistic,

Again, please only reply if you have personal knowledge that a platform or IFA will deal with Britons abroad.

Let's take a sec here and notice something genuinely great happening in the US government: the Consumer Finance Protection Bureau's stunning, unbroken streak of major, muscular victories over the forces of corporate corruption, with the backing of the Supreme Court (yes, that Supreme Court), and which is only speeding up!

It's Linkdump Saturday! This is the day on which I clear the giant backlog of links from the previous week that I haven't managed to post in my newsletter's "Hey look at this" sections. This is my 19th linkdump; here's the previous 18 dumps:

For Father's Day next Sunday, my 16-y--o daughter has agreed to watch a movie of my choosing with me.

I want to get her excited about one of the movies I love, but which she's been uninterested in watching thus far.

Should it be:

If you ever have the misfortune to do business with Suburban Propane, double-check the price before you order. Look, no one wants to kick Big Tech to the curb more than I do, but, also: it's good that Google indexes the news so people can find it, and it's good that Facebook provides forums where people can talk about the news.

No one was better positioned to tell the tale of the largest sting operation in world history than veteran tech reporter Joseph Cox, and tell it he did, in Dark Wire, released today:
