И аз бях така, но бързо се научих, че промените се случват и колкото и да въставаме срещу тях, се научаваме да ги приемаме и да живеем с тях, те стават част от живота ни. Капиталисти, нацисти, комунисти, бедни и богати хора. Светът и животът не са статични. Те са динамични, променят се, като сайта на шибания Фейсбук, дето се рестартира през една секунда. Такъв е и животът. Къде ви е чувството за приключения, за безцелно лутане, търсейки нещо, за което да се захванете, да си е ваше и да кажете

Но дали някой изобщо ще ги разбере? Така казваше една моя учителка. Не се оставяйте да ви съжаляват, борете се за мястото си, и ще ви уважават. Иначе, да, ще ви помагат. Но то ще е от жалост и съжаление, защото сте слепи, или защото сте с други увреждания. Няма да е заради самите вас, заради вашето държание, а от жалост. Добре запомнете това. С това приключва и моето писание за вас. За тия, които са се предали и не искат да живеят, но са глезени, капризни, и искат да е на тяхното. Светът не се съобразява с вас, нито с мен, нито с онзи, който иска нещо по-различно от хляб, но няма пари да си го купи. Светът си продължава. Затова и ние продължаваме. Голяма работа, че едно меню се е променило, че ще натиснете един бутон повече.

Yeah, sadly. Honestly, threads ain't bad on Android, at least if using Commentary...
Once the interface is more stream-lined, especially when it comes to pictures (which are properly alt-tagged via Meta shockingly), it'll be nice!

Threads, while not entirely accessible, lacks certain features that would enhance its usability. The absence of an actions rotor and the extensive swiping required to navigate the app suggest that accessibility was not a priority during Threads' early development. It remains to be seen whether these issues will be addressed in the future. Interestingly, there are noticeable similarities between Threads and the Mastodon platform. Some terms differ slightly, such as "Favorite" replacing "Like" in Mastodon, and the "Repost" function remaining the same in both platforms. Features like Hide, Mute, Report, Follow, and others share commonalities as well. Even my profile on Threads is @thomas.domville@threads.net, indicating that there are plans for cross-platform communication with Mastodon users. This interoperability is also expected with BlueSky. For now, I'll continue using Threads as a hub for communicating with these servers when they become available. The prospect of being part of the fediverse, connecting various platforms, is truly exciting. However, it's worth noting that Threads faces a hurdle in expanding to the European Union due to the strict data collection regulations in place. Consequently, Threads may struggle to gain traction until it is made available in the EU store. Meanwhile, we eagerly await the potential opening of BlueSky, and the longer they keep it closed, the more it may hinder their progress. In contrast, Threads managed to amass an impressive 5 million users within its first hour. So, for now, I'll sit back, enjoy some popcorn, and observe how this unfolds.

The #Threads app by #Meta on #Android, is way easier to use with a screen reader than Facebook is!
No, the FB app on Android still doesn’t use actions like with what #Tusky does unfortunately, and neither does most social apps to be honest, but hey, at least the layout is way nicer!
So uh. I'm presently without an android screen reader. Tried to update talkback, and it... never came back. Holding the volume keys makes the noise, but talkback doesn't come on. Oh boy. Time to fuck with ADB me thinks.
