No, I will not tell you that you absolutely have to or whatever like that, this is not the "mastodon.social sucks and you absolutely should not use it" kind of post

But you might like:

  • Actually usable local feed of smaller, topic-specific/themed instance
  • Smoother experience and better federation (mastodon.social seems to be notoriously bad at caching content before you follow someone, even if the other instance is already federated)
  • Supporting decentralized & diverse nature of Fedi which guarantees its long-term survival
  • Having your mod team being some friendly silly goobers that you can easily contact, talk to, and thank for their thankless job (on smaller instances it usually also means much faster mod team's response to reports)

📺 Zandberg u Sroczyńskiego w RMF.

„Położyliśmy na stole propozycję dojścia do 8 proc. PKB na służbę zdrowia. (…) Nie było zgody pozostałych partii na to” – tak Adrian Zandberg, współprzewodniczący Partii Razem, mówił w Popołudniowej rozmowie w RMF FM o negocjacjach koalicyjnych. Zapytany opinię na temat stanu finansów państwa i tzw. dziurę Morawieckiego stwierdził, że jego zdaniem „jest to opowieść nietrafna”."

Mnie przekonała odpowiedź, dlaczego nie weszli do rządu: ministerstwo bez środków na działanie to tylko biurko, sekretarka i limuzyna (cytuję z głowy).

Sam myślę też, że gdyby weszli, odcięliby sobie możliwość wprowadzania zmian w prawie za pomocą poselskich projektów ustaw, co zapowiadają. Niezręcznie byłoby być w rządzie i opozycji do rządu jednocześnie 🤔

@m0bi13 myślę że postawili raczej na wiarygodność niż na wejście do rządu w którym oni jak i ich pomysły byłyby spychane na margines

Tego się boję też jeśli chodzi o tę część lewicy, która do rządu wejdzie. Jako jedyni nie są libkowo-prawicującymi działaczami i mam takie silne przeczucie że czego by nie próbowali zrobić czy zaproponować konkretnego z faktycznie lewicowych rozwiązań, to spotka się to z ignorowaniem i cichym śmiechem koalicjantów :/

I'm reading that Polish coal mines will need 5 bln PLN (1.2 bln EUR) of government subsidies by the end of this year to not bankrupt.

On one hand I hope they will, no more destruction of the environment and digging up fossil fuels, on the other hand it will be absolutely awful and unacceptable if the people working there will just lose their jobs without any proposed alternative.
