Just a heads up for those who use "legacy" mail reader systems:

Google is shutting off password access to mail, calendars, and contacts, forcing OAuth2 to authenticate.

Anything with IMAP, SMTP, POP, CalDAV, or CardDAV using basic auth will fail.

@siderea @azonenberg @dragosr that's a great solution, of course, assuming you're willing to deal with the consequences.

Mostly that come in the form of a lot of cPanel hosting providers don't have a whole heck of a lot of experience making sure email moves.

That, and spam filtering quality is... leaving stuff to be desired.

@dangoodin If you're on an instance with glitch, under Preferences -> Preferences -> Other -> Default format for toots, you can specify what your default format for toots are.

@ernie I mean, based on a googling, large coffee appears to be 20oz, versus a large soft drink being 30. Based on the caffeine numbers in the article, it appears that they are of fairly comparable strength.
