One of the saddest side effects of 2010s politics is that I now instinctively distrust any organization with "Truth" or some derivative in the name.

I paradoxically expect anyone who self identifies as a "truth seeker" to be someone who will be caught up in one or more dangerous delusions or conspiracy theories perpetrated by some random individual for their own personal gain.

I think I'm recognizing a problem with digitalization in Germany, or indeed any practical efforts.
Parts of it stem from the organizations becoming too top-heavy, meaning too many people have a say in too many things.
They then let perfection be the enemy of good, and now people are constantly roadblocking any action because the solutions are not perfect.
Until those who were previously willing to act are now worn out, and don't have the energy to try anymore. The cycle continues. 1/2

When I heard how shit the new Sonos app was, I stopped automatic updates on my phone. But the old app’s performance has tanked too. Buttons don’t fucking do anything anymore, at least not quickly. Spinners everywhere.
