This week I've got a small treat for lovers too!

A low poly cardboard box with a burger logo flies into view, is being rotated and then opens, revealing a low-poly but high-calories burger.

I'm working with Unity and the whole puddle is just a hole in the floor, through which you can see another sprite (and character reflection) with material swapped from the regular sprite-lit to a custom made one with a "wobbly" shader. I'm no expert with shaders but I messed around with Unity's node editor until it wobbled just the right way. Voronoi is the key.
The ripples are actually just growing and fading sprites with normal maps.

I work with a lot and one of the biggest flaws of that otherwise great program is lack of advanced layers management like folders. With 50+ layers in a single file it gets really difficult and messy with one super-long scrolling list and indistinct/tiny previews.

My workaround is grouping by color-coding layers labels with emojis like 🟥 🟦 🟩 🟨 or even general emojis.

a list of layers in a Paint dot Net program. Each layer has a label with a name and a emoji representing the name, like a cook for a "kitchen" layer, or a star for a "glow" layer.

@hypolite well before you get too deep into it, I feel like I need to make it clear that I wasn't super serious about it.
itchio is more accessible by creators and gives more freedom, while steam seems to have much bigger reach while not always providing better user experience
