I spent a good chunk of my career in the towers of the . . . while GM leaving for the new Hudson building is a really big deal, perhaps even bigger is that Bedrock and the city now have the chance to do great things with the riverfront.

The big buzz on the Detroit subreddit is that there’s an announcement coming this afternoon from GM & Dan Gilbert that GM is moving out of the RenCen & into the new Hudson’s tower. This feels like a pivotal moment for post-covid Detroit. What do we do with the empty office space in the RenCen towers

Okay we’re at Truist Field in watching the Knights game against the Tides of Norfolk and I’m seeing for the first time batters being able to challenge balls and strikes. My guess is that this is coming to ?

Seeing two calls challenged in the first half inning alone (one successfully, one not) it feels . . . well, it feels like something we’ll have to get used to.
