So what does it mean for a browser to have AI built in? Does it mean that it is using your browsing data? Is it using it for ads or for profiling?

Is AI just another reason to collect your data? What are the so-called AI browsers doing today?

Would you use a browser that has AI built in?

I have provided three choices. The first one is that you want AI and do not care if the data is used for ads and profiling. Two : you do not want AI at all. Three: Want AI, but only if the data is not used for other purposes, such as ads and profiling.

@jon I wouldn't mind being able to integrate local llms into the browser. Using ollama or something.

At @Vivaldi we focus on the browser, but we also provide a few free services. What parts of Vivaldi are you using?

If you have not tried Vivaldi yet, a download at Vivaldi.com will get you started

@jon @Vivaldi legends, we need more Vivaldi though. Also can you give me a job? 😁

Hi all @Vivaldi users, does anyone know if I can hide the window bar?

My goal here is to have a video player that can be moved around but all the UI elements are gone. No scrollbar, window bar or anything.

Maybe there is something I can do within Linux options? But I think Vivaldi have their own window bar in place.,

@Vivaldi that'll do it :D thanks.

Is there anyway to store custom CSS for websites within the browser? So I could edit YouTube's appearance and have it persist between sessions?

@protonprivacy I just tried to have obsidian notes create a vault within proton drive but it didn't give the option. So I then tried to have the proton drive app back up my vault directory but that does not seem to be an option either. Seems I can only set photo directories for back up.

Are there any plans to let users select a folder to backup automatically on Android?

anyone here into and ?

I would like to get started with them for development and also for self hosting services like and other stuff.

Just wondering what would be the best setup for a home server that runs Containerised apps on my network?

Maybe an Ubuntu server machine? Or a bunch of Pis?

@mforester That's a lot more containers than I thought would be possible on a PI :D
