Yay! I’m not a car guy, but I’m really in love with this one. The bus our family needed. It’s huge, not very fuel efficient, but it’s vast and comfortable for a family of 5 with 3 child seats and luggage. It has everything I could ever dream of, with adaptive cruise control, 360° cameras, panoramic roof, CarPlay, etc…

Lesson for the future, if you’re ever ordering a built-in fridge with a service of mounting it in place… They carried it upstairs, removed the old fridge and put the new one on the spot, but then they stopped, refusing to go further, because… The fridge had right side hinges and the cupboard had left side ones. Spent hours levelling the shit, putting it just in the right spot, flipping fridge hinges, gaskets and sorting out all the little plastic bits and pieces…

is so annoying… I’ve been trying to eliminate bottom bracket/crankset clicking on my . In theory it should be easy. BSA, Hollowtech… If there’s even one, microscopic grain of dirt, it’s gonna click and/or rub, no matter what…

I’ve removed crankset, BB, cleaned it, drowned it in lube and assembled it again, torqued to spec. I bet it’s gonna click right away I start my next ride…

#Croatia 🇭🇷 Day 5.1! #Waterfall galore at #KrkaNationalPark! A brief boat cruise, stunning views, nice paths to walk on with kids. It was a lot of people, can’t even begin to imagine how it is in high season…😁 Kids were having a blast seeing such a big waterfall for the first time!🥰

#Croatia 🇭🇷, Day 4.2! We went to see #Kastelina, which was not really much, just a few walls. Then some time on a beach, kids could plan on a kid-size cliffs… We’ve ended the day with some tasty food at #PizzeriaToni, one of the few off-season opened venues…😂🙈

#Croatia, Day 3. We visited #DugiOtok, #Sali and #Telascica park. We had to take a ferry, which sparse cruising hours put a strain on our far from punctual family. We spent some time on the beach at #JezeroMir, looking at some crabs and sitting in the shadows, like vampires…🥰😂 The 2,5km walk was a nightmare with children…🤡

Day 1 of our trip to #Croatia! What a day it was.

First, we didn’t do the online check-in with RyanAir so they charged us extra €250 for printing the tickets.

Car rental we’ve booked did not accept debit cards for deposits, so we couldn’t get a vehicle from them. We’ve got THE LAST ONE from the only rental that didn’t need credit card…🤦🏻‍♂️ Of course it was slightly more expensive but that was a life saver.

We’ve now arrived at our place and at least that went well.

Also, if you ever wondered if you stood a chance against a steel wire on a bicycle - you don’t. I was getting around a car leaving parking place and did not notice a hanging cable guarding parking spots. Turned right into it and slid on it. I didn’t fall, only scuffed the frame a bit, but I guess I took most of the hit on my leg… I’m glad I wasn’t going faster than 5km/h…😂

I have just replaced my first #BOA cable... Looked difficult at the beginning, but it was actually quite easy. All I needed was a tiny Torx T6 from iFixit and some patience to tie a knot with electronic tweezers on a tiny steel wire... 😜

Now, the less exciting news. After 1,5 month, the garage finally came up with my car's diagnosis. Skipped timing belt, they say, based on some scuffing on the belt and no compression on the cylinders... I think I'm gonna take it to another garage for a second opinion, because right now I'm being told the repair can go up to €2,5k which is half of the value of the entire car... :bulbasaurroll:
