My primary way of getting news? Good old #RSS with various reputable sources.

After the departure of Google Reader, I was using Feedly but in light of their AI surveillance efforts I canceled the account and run #FreshRSS on my tiny home server.

Client is #Reeder on iPhone and iPad - a perfect app if there ever was one.

Update on videos: the app will now behave like most other apps:

  • Videos in the timeline are autoplay and non-muted by default.
  • Content settings have a new option to mute video by default alongside the already existing auto-play on/off setting.
  • Once you tap on a video and it opens the fullscreen view, it’ll autoplay and be non-muted.
  • If your device is on mute, it’ll be automatically muted in the timeline but non-muted in the full-screen view.

Fusion in

I use the Camera tracker, solve the track, want to set the ground plane. No matter what or how many track points I select, clicking Set ground plane fails with "0 locators selected". I AM selecting ones from the supposed ground plane. Resolve 18.6.

Is it a me error or yet another buggy Resolve feature? If it's a me error, this software is totally incompatible with me.

Was there ever a successful comeback of a fabled designer of classic games? Just Ron Gilbert maybe? Everything else has been epic fails, from Yu Suzuki's Shenmue 3 to Richard Gariott's Shroud of the Avatar, that not-really Mega Man game, John Romero's inability to move on, Peter Molyneux's stuff... We'll see about Chris Roberts and the Star Citizen.
