I submitted There’s Been A Murder to one publisher and they were keen but they wanted it to have more suspense, more teetering back and forth between win and lose. I went back and forth trying some things but I couldn’t make them happy. So I said look to get what you need I need to rework this a lot I’ll come back to you. Then it got picked up as is by another publisher and we sold 100,000 copies. Publishers are smart but they’re not always RIGHT.

Littleun's school is doing a charity event that's clearly changed a bit over the years - the flyer has some cartoon penny-people waving flags and it says "1, 2, 3, 4, I declare a coin war!"

"Coin isn't enough syllables," I say, narrowing my eyes, "but alright, you can have my odd change if it'll get her class a root beer float party."

All US coins and bills accepted, it says, "WELL THAT'S BANG AGAINST THE PENNY-WAR SPIRIT OF THE THING" I say, but whatever, let's empty out the jelly bean machine, it'll be a nice excuse to show y'all the coin mechanism.

One of the funniest things you can do as a bard is with low level enemies like goblins you can vicious mockery them to death. I have always wanted to do it in a real D&D game but haven't managed it but I've done it multiple times in BG3.
