Tomorrow's father's day, and for no reason at all, I'm going to share a story that I guess is kinda about my Dad. Let me state up front: my dad is amazing & we've always been close and gotten along extremely well. He's always been super supportive of anything I've done.

Well now. It looks like Bluesky will have to deal with their Jack Dorsey issue sooner rather than later, after his recent history with promoting anti-vaccination crank RFK Jr. came to wider attention, because this isn’t just some harmless billionaire obsession, they’re literally killing people, bringing back diseases that were almost wiped out like measles.

Bluesky members are not happy and some are calling for Dorsey to be thrown off the Bluesky board.

"Kennedy...was on a sailboat for an event with the Alliance to Protect Nantucket Sound, which opposes the wind project. A Greenpeace vessel cruised up alongside with a banner that read, 'Bobby, you’re on the wrong boat.'"

@GottaLaff My understanding is that Russia has taken the city they incinerated but lost the flanks surrounding it. Weird to claim victory in a place where you will soon be encircled without cover.

@lovelylovely After I posted my toot, I realized it's a sign of my privilege to be shocked. I haven't followed Tuberville's career. I never heard of him before he ran for Senate. Still he and Hyde-Smith might as well be sons and daughters of the Confederacy. They're unapologetic in their racism.
Be kind to yourself. I believe you when you say none of this is shocking. Still it's painful and frightening and infuriating to have to see this again and again and again.
