When I started longboarding last summer, cracks, bumps and little twigs were a real problem for me. My Dinghy came with 60 mm wheels, but I replaced them with 72 mm Plow Kings and suddenly I became unstoppable!
Climbing up curbs is still a problem. I can get one foot on the ground and push to pass small ones, but I wouldn't mind learning one or two tricks to climb them with style. The method described by Lotfi in his video looks nice, but I need to practice my manuals first.

C'était assez long à lire, mais intrigant, et j'ai donc créé un compte pour tester. Ce qui m'a séduit·e, c'est le fait que kbin propose non seulement une alternative à reddit mais aussi une partie "microblog" qui semblait permettre d'interagir plus facilement avec les services de microblogging du Fediverse (Pleroma, Akkoma, Mastodon, *Key, etc).
Deux points noirs toutefois : l'endroit était assez vide, et le logiciel lui-même était encore très jeune, beaucoup de choses restaient (et restent) encore à implémenter. J'ai donc continué à jeter un coup d'œil curieux de temps en temps, mais sans vraiment y investir beaucoup de temps.
Les choses ont bien sûr changé du tout au tout ces derniers jours, suite à l'afflux de personnes cherchant soudainement une alternative à Reddit. Toute cette nouvelle activité fait plaisir à voir, j'ai hâte de voir comment kbin va évoluer dans les semaines qui viennent, et comment va s'établir la fédération avec le reste du Fediverse.
I've never used tail guards yet. But each time I practice some freestyle trick that involves popping the board, I'm a bit worried by the fact that I'm damaging my board, even so slightly.
I must say that the main reason that I still don't have tail guards on my boards is that I need to drill holes in them, and I juste don't have a driller. OK, not a good reason since I guess I could borrow one.
