#séance21h
@snoopy@tournesol Je vois bien vos messages depuis kbin. :)
@Dylan Nice action pic! The blurry background really gives a sense of speed.
I realize I don't have any picture of me riding my longboard! I should probably ask a friend to come over and help me shoot a few.
By the way, if you wanna talk about longboards, I started a small community on kbin (the Fediverse equivalent of Reddit) here: https://kbin.social/m/longboarding ( @longboarding ), and you're more than welcome to post or comment there.
@annathecrow Glad to hear you're having fun with your new longboard!
I started longboarding last year, and I've had a lot fun since then, cruising and learning basic tricks.
By the way if you want to talk about longboards, ask advice, post pics or videos or anything longboard-related, we have a kbin magazine (the equivalent of a subreddit on the Fediverse) here: https://kbin.social/m/longboarding ( @longboarding )
@annathecrow Oh, I see in your bio that you turned on follow requests, I hadn't noticed that. So I may have hit the "follow" button several times, thinking that it didn't work. Sorry for that!
@annathecrow I see what you mean. I'm autistic, so it's usual for me to have special interests that can last from 1 to 6 months and fade out. But fortunately it's not been the case with longboarding. Maybe because I had a break from it during winter, maybe because it's become more than a hobby and has proven to be very useful.
Took some time and decorated my #longboard grip tape and it's fucking awesome. My friend even got a picture of me wearing it with a strap and it looks badass.
@jakobramen Wow! For sure, it's really badass! You did a really cool job here.
What model of board is it?
By the way, there's a longboarding "magazine" (the equivalent of a subreddit) here on kbin: https://kbin.social/m/longboarding ( @longboarding ), so if you want to post pics of your board, or discuss about anything longboard-related, you're more than welcome!
Guess it's time for an #introduction ! Better late than never, huh?
I'm Tim, a software engineer in the southern US. I've been off the social media train for quite a while, but thelis Drivers thing seems like what I might be after.
Looking forward to sharing my hobbies and seeing some of yours!
@thraximundar Hi Tim! Nice to meet a fellow longboarder and programmer!
I've created a kbin magazine for longboarding, feel free to come tell us your experience about LDP, freestyle or anything! It's at https://kbin.social/m/longboarding.
@kdegeek I heard good feedback about it, so I decided to give it a chance, and I must admit it's really good. At least the 5 first episodes that I've seen.
