Daze,

It does.

Last week, Senator Joann Ginal, a Fort Collins Democrat, proposed an amendment on the Senate floor permitting the use of rent-setting algorithms, provided that the data utilized was publicly available. This version of the bill subsequently passed in the Senate.

Speaking to The Denver Post on Tuesday, Ginal defended the amendment, asserting that individuals should have the freedom to utilize apps and algorithms they have purchased. She maintained that the allegations against RealPage remain unproven, emphasizing the importance of awaiting the outcome of ongoing legal proceedings and investigations.

In response to the Senate’s alterations, Denver Democratic Representatives Javier Mabrey and Steven Woodrow, the bill’s sponsors in the House, rejected the changes, arguing that they undermined the bill’s original intent.

Daze,

Not comparable to DF really, Against the Storm is a closer comparison, but you can set parameters to peaceful and play slower if you want.

To me it feels like Farthest Frontier/Fabledom settlement building with Age of Empires-esque resource management and RTS mechanics

Daze,

Disclaimer I've only played a couple hours. But, unless I've missed it, it sorely needs quick keybinds to info-management panels. I'm getting sick quick of tracking down where I put my settlers to work building by building

Daze,

When a friend says they can handle the weight of my emotional baggage but I'm like:

Daze,

Definitely this.

Concerta is diet cocaine, whereas Vyvanse is a miracle (and Lisdex is the devil's apple)

Daze,

Enter the Void. Best enjoyed on acid with friends 😉

Daze,

Thank you for sharing!! All of those Gboard videos are absolute gold lmfao

Daze,

The real prank was the American education system all along 🥲

Daze,

OP, you need to check out Path of Achra!

The game is fantastic in its own right, and I don't know if it's directly related to any Arabic mythos/lore or if it's just one person's inspired creation, but there are tons of characters, cultures, gods and elemental powers to check out that are all along the lines of what you're looking for I think.

Daze,

Path of Achra

The Binding of Isaac

Tiny Rogues

The Dungeon Beneath

These are my four horsemen.

Daze,

It bothers me so much that they're claiming the machines to be GDPR-Compliant. If you wanted to have the screen activate when someone walks up, a light sensor alone would do the trick, not fucking facial scanning technology!!

Daze,

Like seeing an old friend. That's good stuff 😤

Daze,

OOOOOOHHHHhhhhhh!!! You just SLAMMED the word Slam!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Is texting not a conversation, or is it just me?

When texting people in general I find it frustrating that people don’t seem to view it as a conversation. If someone texts me and I catch it and text back right away, I get frustrated when people don’t return the favor. They might text back 5, 10, minutes or an hour or more later. Why did you text me if you didn’t want to...

Daze,

I second this with Agoraphobic AutADHD. I desperately miss the days of flip phones and simpler IM clients. The "requirement" of having a smartphone in this day & age means that, at a low level, there is always a baseline anxiety present in me from wake to sleep.

I'm a person that needs alone time every day or I can't fully destress so knowing that anyone can always get ahold of me, or if they can't, they expect immediate responses whenever possible stresses me to holy high hell! Thankfully the friends I do have all understand this, so even if a week or a month passes between messages, it's treated like no time has passed at all. Without that, friendship is nearly impossible lol

Daze,

inb4 religious nutjobs start claiming that global warming is g*d's plan to kill his perfect creation the homosexual whales.

Daze,

Holy fuck lol, phone calls are going to start sounding just like those huge copypasta bricks with emojis every 2-3 words

Daze,

Yes, they're relatively easy-to-digest suggestions, hence perhaps a frustration at the root of the OP's question surrounding the attempts to draw your peers into something you enjoy.

Because of course Skydiving (for example) might be amazing, but you bet your ass I'm not looking into doing that all by myself lol

Daze,

What did you try to start them on? You've gotta get them hooked with the visual style first to get them used to the medium, so I always recommend stuff that would be more familiar to them. Stuff like March Comes In Like A Lion; Much more true-to-life and no sudden "surprises" like we know certain shows can do at particular moments 🙄

Daze,

It's actually an allegory about Adam & Eve and the creation mythos 😅 The last episode of the Evangelion series is not the true last episode, there's actually a whole separate episode that goes over what really happens
