Can't be only one who hates "petite" right ? Only see it used to describe (short|small titted) adult women . Specially wen used in NSFW contexts just … bad vibesz all around , don't like its connotations
Unnecessarily gendered language describing physical traits anyone can have
Tying physical attributes to gender
Likens the (short|small titted) adult women to children , creating countless problems itself
Can we just get rid of it already ? Wy hasn't it been dropped by now ?
CLARIFICATION : Only concerned with how it's used in english
How are Lemmy instances able to even see microblog posts ? Afaik Lemmy doesn't have microblogging feature , interaction between Lemmy and more microblog oriented parts of the fediverse should be more limited right ? Unless it was something they recently added , or a 3rd party app that adds it ig ?
As some one who still needs access to reddit posts , having streamlined way to view (reddit|kbin|lemmy) posts without having to ((wait|look) for another|flip between) apps … pretty amazing . Hope to eventually (log into|post from) kbin from it !
Assuming you carry a flash drive around with you, what’s on it? What movies, pictures or books? Any utility programs you find yourself using? Diagnostic tools?
I quite value content from targetted instances, but most of the "general" instances seem to be memes, posts on boosting lemmy, memes, reddit, memes bot posts, memes, reddit, memes, discussion on lemmy mobile applications, memes reddit, memes, and people talking about how the lemmy changed their lives oh and memes....
I'd love to block lemmy.world but keep communities am subbed to (whitelist|unblock)ed . Not just i don't care much for memes , but there's lot of shitty peops on there (racists|reply guys|.*)
Can't actually load video on invidious , comments seem to talk about (telemetry|sponsors)
For this very reason i always turn airplane mode on when (install|updat)ing firefox
To peops justifying Mozilla doing this : did all you remember when they shoved mr robot ad and ad advertising their VPN in the browser for no reason ? There's ways to disable them that's true , but they're gonna continue doing this . Don't like when peops who aren't tech oriented are left vulnerable to this
In my opinion, Abby from TLOU 2. During the first part of the game, she is portrayed as the bad girl, but when she become the playable character, you understand that she isn't:...
Before the whole Reddit migration I was passively aware of the Fediverse, I thought I somewhat grasped the concept, and had created a Mastodon account, but never really used it....
I have to start from scratch all over again … coflicted if want to post userstyle right now in unfinished state , sometimes have hard time diagnosing issues . But i really desperate for help ‼️
Comment section margins in particular i have hard time getting to loook how i want (within kbin HTML structure limitations which's whole other worm can) 🪦 they're inconsistent and seem to have mind of their own
Wen tryn to do something i never done before , dont wanna hear long winded explanation of how CSS thing works (it doesn't for me) , jsut want solution …
Wat ive tried doing : replicate this view mode for posts with thumbnails , have trouble getting <figure>s to auto adjust height based on image height
