Finally watched Arcane. It hat NO RIGHT to be as good as it was - might be the best show I've watched in a long time. Really makes me want more/to play something in that lore or w/ those characters, except... there's no way I'm really going to play League lol #arcane#leagueoflegends#league
@EposVox Arcane and Edgerunner demonstrate how good video game adaptations can be. The only bummer with arcane is that it is going to take ages until season two hits. Maybe Shyvana will get her VGU earlier lol.
Anyone playing on the steam deck? How do you feel about d-pads that don't have diagonals? I play on a Xbox gamepad most of the time, so the deck's pad feels wonky.
@sarfunkel okay I see. I get that I could connect a controller, but then I would never to carry that around on my trips, too.
Are you playing the game on the Deck as well? I seem to be getting so annoying stutters where the game just takes a break for one to two seconds. Framerare in-between those is superb
@sarfunkel No I'm playing the arcade mode offline. It's like the whole deck just freezes for a moment, roughly 5 times a match. Even the preformance metrics freeze during this. I mean I can work around it offline, but it gets really annoying. It happens in menus and ingame.
@sarfunkel Okay that's weird. Okay I will try again, maybe setting everything on low as possible does work (I just changed between the differet presets). Also I didn't have the fsr enabled, I'll try that. Thank you for double checking, I'll post an update later!
@sarfunkel I seem to have fixed it. I went online again, downloaded a new shader update and chaged to the steam deck beta client (away from stable). Now everything works wirh my oroginal graphic settings. But I was online while trying so let's see if the issue comes back when I go offline again.
Somebody really needs to start a clothing shop for men that guarantees to keep items in stock indefinitely. None of this 'item is discontinued', 'oh red isn't in fashion this year', 'we continually update our range' etc. I just want to buy the same item when the current one wears out without having to think about whether the alternatives will fit, look right etc.
@pwaring Let's make it even harder. You buy one pair of trousers in your size and then you won't be allowed to purchase a different size. Keeps you motivated to stay in shape or you'll fall through the clothing system.
Hello, quick question about the interconnection between instances in the fediverse. I now have my account here on kbin.social and I have also created an account on mastodon.social some while ago that I've reactivated now since the reddit blackout. I have read that kbin can access mastodon, so do I need a Mastodon account at all? Can I possibly log in to Mastodon through my kbin.social account and use the Mastodon interface when I feel like it?
Also another thing: would this question better fit into the threads section or is it fine here with the microblog?
Thank you two for your replies, I think I get the thing with threads and posts now. But how would I e. g. follow someone from mastodon through kbin if federation will work in the future? Just as an example.
@dannekrose Thanks a lot for the reply, I already read your FAQ in fact :D The thing I don't get yet, is how I access e. g. Mastodon.social while being logged into kbin.social do I just search for a mastodon.social user and if yes, where do I do this?
Edit: I finally found out that I just can add @user behind kbin.social/u/ for example. Now I feel dumb that this took so long :D I'm amazed that it just works like this.
