Quake 2 was insane. I remember crazy lan parties with my pals. You just had to type a simple command to launch the server (no special configuration needed) and then just launch the client on the PCs and that was it.
At first I was looking for a reddit alternative but now, after a few days in the fediverse, I made 2 observations:
The experience is much more like what I expect from this sort of social network (smaller, less spammy)
I'm positive I don't want to go back to reddit because with hindsight I was just wasting time browsing and reading stuff that I mostly don't care about.
For me "English" is selected in the drop-down at the bottom of the page but the UI is still using my native language. I'd like it to be in English but I don't know how.
