As a woman in her 30s, I'm partial to glitter and stickers. But I also like swords, knives and axes...

Guys, buy your woman a sword!

They're also probably the edgelords who screech and cry about their homophobic mods being removed. Because God forbid they see a gay/ lesbian character. 🙄

thepixelfox,
thepixelfox avatar

Listen sweetheart. I'm saying drag queens wear make up as it's an aggregated form of art for showbusiness. So take a seat at the back of the class and actually learn reading comprehension.

I said drag queens aren't the ones saying women need to wear makeup. I'm saying society is. And drag queens wear makeup as a form of art. What's so hard to understand about that.

Clearly you just hate drag queens. If your fragile female ego takes a beating cause a drag queen looks better than you. That's a you problem.

As a woman who doesn't wear makeup. I think drag queens are great. They're funny. They're amazing at their form of art. And they're also in a group that gets hate from the world, as the majority are gay. So I'm all for them going out there and doing what to do despite the hate and shit they get from homophobic fuckwads.

thepixelfox,
thepixelfox avatar

So you're not a woman because drag queens wear make up?
Sounds like you're a bit of a transphobe with your underhanded digs.

Drag queens wear heavy makeup because they're men, and it's show business. It's an exaggerated art form.

It's not drag queens who propagate the women wear makeup stero type. It's been a societal pressure for years now. Just like shaving legs, it's about what society wants women to look like. Women were and still are in a lot of places, seen as objects who need to look pretty and keep quiet.
So don't blame drag queens for an issue that has been pushed by society for a long ass time.

If people want to identify as male or female, that's their choice. And their choice doesn't affect you. Just like a person you don't know getting a tattoo doesn't affect you. Their body. Their choice.

It's easier to hope someone will have information on an individual who's is reported on. Someone might see the article and realise they saw her in a coffee shop with a man, looking very uneasy. And tip off police.

Whereas homelessness is a much harder thing to tackle. That requires government intervention rather than individual intervention from someone who saw something suspicious. And getting a government to care about homeless people is a huge ask.
I hate that we have a homelessness issue, and I hate that it's not reported on much at all. Things should be in the public eye, in hopes that people wrote to their local rep to try get help.

But it's more likely you'll find a missing person (dead or alive) by posting an article than it is likely you'll resolve homelessness.

It's actually a river you crash on the edge of. You can see if you look out over it, there's cliffs and hills on the other side.

3 year age gap is nothing. I don't understand people's need to be disgusted by or police consenting adults.

There's 15 years between me and my partner. Both 30+ so both very much consenting adults. But Christ, you still get people chirping with the 'power differential' bullshit. Like seriously, you'd think I was 13 the way people go at the age gap. Then again, that was when I actually used Reddit so.

People are always gonna be outraged by something stupid.

Cats can also have litters to multiple males. My cat snuck out during lock down, before I could get her sterilised. And had a little of two grey cats (same as her and the cat I saw her near) and a black and white tuxedo cat (also another colour way of cat that hung around my garden.)
It's interesting to see all the variations of kitties when they have kittens!

I liked it. The typeface, size and spacing made it easier to read. They included all the points in a relatively short amount of text, lots of people don't like to read walls of text that have the points hidden in amongst unnecessary text.

They put important points in bold so even if you skimmed you could see the important points and read that paragraph if it was what you wanted information on.

It makes it easier for people who don't really understand the issues, to understand what it is and why it's wrong.

And this autistic person appreciated the simplicity and straightforwardness of it. As I assume others would too. So it's more accessable and understandable for people like me.

thepixelfox,
thepixelfox avatar

I feel you. Me too.

That's why it's good that people are donating to funds like these. Celebs donate big amounts. Even if it's less that 1% of their worth. Who cares? It's 10mil, that's a lot of money and can do a lot of good.

My point was, I notice the people who screech about celebs not donating enough either don't donate themselves or wouldn't even consider donating the percentage of their money that they feel these people should be donating. It's hypocritical.

The rock is a good person, he's worked to get where he is. He's entitled to his money just like every other Tom, dick and harry is.

As much as I dislike shitty rich people, looking at you Elon, it's still their money. And if we screech about how they should spend their money, it's only fair that we can then be told how to use ours too. Would it be nice if people like him used money for good, yes of course. But end of the day, it's their money to do with as they choose. And even a donation that isn't huge to them, is huge to others in need. So it shouldn't be complained about. It should be seen as good.

thepixelfox,
thepixelfox avatar

Your point? Would you donate half of everything you own or all of it? Probably not. At least they're helping.

People complaining about rich people not donating more are hypocrites, cause I don't see any of you donating too or donating the percentage of what you earn/ have in the bank that you think they should be donating.

Well thank you for making me choke on my coffee. That seabirds comment really caught me off guard.

Drugs, a breakdown, midlife crisis, or just Elon showing us who Elon actually is. Find out on the next episode of downward spiral!

Jesus. The outside I was like okay that's fine, lots of trees, I like this.

And inside, oh boy I'd rather run through the building in outlast than live in that house. Wtf is going on with the door? Did someone draw a scene in dirt like they do on white vans? What's with the tiles? Did they go into a closing down sale and just buy a few boxes of each tile they could then throw them at the wall like the Grinch sorting mail?

The walls. Moving on. I just can't.

The stained glass window was pretty, till I noticed the middle design looked like tiddys.

I'm done with this house. Kill it with fire.

Ah yes. Your tiny sample size.

From a disabled person. Fuck off. COVID sucked and continues to affect me.

Twitter. The heck makes you think I use Twitter. 😹 Try again. Asshole.

COVID is still a pretty new thing. The whole shit storm was only 3 years ago. Flu has been around for fkn ages now, so it's just a common thing. Where we can predict mutations and how they'll effect people and spread. So it's not really a concern, it's just get your flu jab this year.

Whereas we're still researching COVID and learning about it. The mutations are different with different effects.

Until it hits normality like flu, and predictability like flu, it's good to keep people in the know.

I'm thankful it's still being reported about. As someone with a disability that weakens my immune system, I'm glad to see new vaccines or research into it. I got Omicron, thankfully I'd been vaccinated, cause even with the vaccine it sucked for me. And there was some weird AF symptoms, like the air just smelled like cheese, that one really threw me off. But had I not been vaccinated, who knows just how bad it would have gotten.

And then there's long COVID, we don't get long flu. COVID had an effect on my disability and I've felt worse since getting it.

So it's not just as easy as saying but the flu. They're two different things with different effects and predictability levels and research done into them. So instead of complaining that there's still stuff being written about it, be thankful it's being taken seriously so it can eventually just be a background thing that's akin to flu.

You mean like how religion indoctrinates people and hides actual pedophiles while pointing the finger elsewhere?

And the long history of abuse of children by nuns and priests in children's homes and religious schools/ facilities?

Being LGBT isn't something you just wake up and choose to 'identify' as. You don't wake up and decide, hey I'm gonna be gay! It's just part of who you are.

Religion is a choice and something that can and does indoctrinate people. Maybe look in the right direction and you'll see who the actual bad guys are.

I loved that game. It was stupid goofy fun. Serious zombie games are all well and good. But campy silliness is what I love.

Lollipop chainsaw and the dead island series are my fave zombie games.

Trump boasts at Alabama fundraiser that he needs ‘one more indictment to close out this election’ (apnews.com)

Former President Donald Trump, fresh off his third appearance in court as a criminal defendant, delivered a speech full of defiance and bluster on Friday night, insulting prosecutors and declaring that the charges he faces only help his 2024 presidential campaign.

No thanks. Considering they don't support the consensus on climate change and are a far right, anti-government, anti-immigration group. I doubt their articles on climate change are factually sound. So miss us with your bullshit.

I blame them all. The idiots proposing this shit and the government agreeing it's a good idea. They're all morons.

I love how people who aren't part of the community think they know what's best for the community. Fucking assholes, outing kids into what could be a potentially dangerous situation, depending on the parents views.

I'd love to out their deepest, most well kept secrets, see how they feel.

It's disgusting how all these 'protections' they put in place will do more harm than good. You can tell it's coming from an anti trans standpoint as they're trying to scare people into staying hidden.

Fuck the government.
