The reason why I think obesity is morally wrong and should be illegal is because obesity is putting up a big burden on our health care system. There are alot of nurses who get injured on the job because they had to move a 300lb morbidly obese person to the other room. Which is morally wrong because they’re injurying nurses...
It's deletorious to your health to be obese, so at the very least it is definitely a health hazard to the person. Making it illegal would be highly problematic though. How would you enforce the law? Would an obese person be forced by the state to go to a correctional facility? What kind of person would be classified obese?
My grandmother insisted I use my right hand to write. Turns out it doesn't matter that much now, I barely write anything at all. When I do, though, it's a horrible scrawl, although I don't know if it'd be the same had I been left to my own devices.
But Code is Law! It's decentralized and trustless, I'm really disappointed with the victims for going to big government, with cryptocurrency there's no need for government, lawyers, or banks. The blockchain clearly already decided that the ETH belongs to the two brothers.
I’m considering getting a Xiaomi 14 Ultra and I can get it pretty cheap with Chinese rom. I heard it’s not that hard to flash it and put in a Swedish/global rom. anyone with real experience? or do I keep the china rom and live with it?
I know you're being flippant, but it's worth noting that there is a considerable difference between a company getting hacked like this and an app with unfettered access to the cluster to sensors that we've got in our pockets.
Misinformation campaigns increasingly target the cavity-fighting mineral, prompting communities to reverse mandates. Dentists are enraged. Parents are caught in the middle....
For what it's worth I live in a country where the drinking water isn't flouridated. It's not a problem and it's certainly never made the news. I think easy availability of dental care, especially in schools since children tend to not be great at taking care of their teeth, is a bigger concern.
It’s a story from April, I tried seeing if it was posted before, however it’s the story about how the advertising and finance team beat the search team into submission by ousting the core person protecting it to pursue “growth” and “revenue” at all costs.
Perhaps "state managed" would be a better descriptor for Chinese private companies, since some now have personnel belonging to the CCP serving in management or board positions.

Just thinking back to the iPhone 6 which is 10 years old this year. I’m trying to work out if there are any features people use that weren’t available 10 years ago?...
With the advancements in technology, particularly AI now, what is the smartest smartphone in your opinion? And I don’t mean in terms of raw power or tech specs, but rather the likes of the OS, UI, or features and functions.
I did this recently. It's nice to have entirely sandboxed Google services, and I like the dot that shows up when there's sensor access. Storage/Contact scopes are fantastic. There are a couple of cons though, such as not having Call Screen, and no form of any charge limiting / charging control for battery life.
It's a good experience and I can recommend it whole heartedly. Use an external way of controlling the charging to protect the battery, GrapheneOS' developers aren't well informed when it comes to battery management.
I don't think anyone would've complained if the localization's quality was on-par with AA or Vagrant Story, but it looks to me like that isn't the case.
