@antlerboy let me doctor up the times' headline for you all
Because of invented numbers of a fake currency pointing in the direction that makes it possible for us to do so, we are going to make it more difficult for poor people to be alive and to give worse medical care to everyone in the United Kingdom
It might be a little long, but I'm stoned and tend to ramble
@fkamiah17 yeah you don't see many rallies of a multi-thousand crush person group It's all the rich and or propagandized people in front of the TVs, but of course on the news there will be camera angle after camera angle making it look like a large demonstration
For most people chasing “generational wealth” is a trap. Prioritize personal freedom and present happiness over an ego-driven desire to build a dynasty. Bezos can't buy more time or meaning. The real wealth is in your lived experience.
@Daojoan I'm betting you a trillion dollars that there is not a single billionaire on the planet that has my voice nor how to use it nor the accompanying control of my physical body no matter how many different specialists they pay to make themselves whatever
@Daojoan The real way to chase generational wealth, to leave your family things is to have nice things and to live well with good memories and good knowledge of places to go things to do
Love your family, encourage everyone to follow their dreams, and hey what if one of them hits a lucrative dream?
not a horde of whatever or Daffy duck with his giant diamond saying how rich he is
MAGAs are labeling DEI as "Didn't Earn It," which is wild because in reality, generating historic wealth through 2 billion acres of stolen land from Native Americans, enslaving Black people for 300 years, banning Asian immigration until 1965, & banning women from financial access til 1974 — all without paying a single red cent in reparations or restitution — is the living breathing example not earning it.
I'm #ActuallyAutistic and I know food preparation is difficult for many folks in the community.
But learning to feed yourself is a skill that has cascading effects (I get severely depressed if I don't feed myself food I like). Not to mention, not everyone has the $$ for takeout
@skinnylatte I'm so picky about food for a lot of reasons One of them is my gut issue the other is that I have to take of my body in a special way because I am an opera singer
But one thing when I am in shape to cook for myself that is really nice is that I save so much money doing so that I can spend a lot of that money on higher end food
I know that I tune out and I'm aware of everything around me but I'm very disassociated quite often it's having been born in a family with an image to maintain with early onset diverticulosis making me learn all of the facets on a memorable show, Just sadly the ones that are remembered because you're the butt of the joke
I flip that around these days
But two roommates have said that I check out and then come back and don't remember
