Hmm, it appears the I have here that clone are finally dead, with the switch for the birdsite to require login to view tweets. There is an extensive list of alternative weather bots that @lckrohjr and myself have running (the IEMBOT). I am going to swap the bots to pull weather stories/etc., but will be some time. BIGGER ISSUE: NWS TORNADO BOT WILL NOT RUN.

I'm still kicking myself I had a satellite signature of where Julian Sands was, and missed it completely... because he was in an area I thought was lower probability. I could have found him (!).

@DarinSimmons Not the one where the ice axe was found, but this is the one where the remains were picked up by helicopter. I can't believe I missed something so obvious... (I mean, they had a bajillion people looking for him with no finds, but I was hoping the satellite use could prove its worth again).

@donkeyherder Well, he was found (by hikers), which is what matters. It's more of a "doh!" moment for me, having all the right clues in my hand but not connecting the dots to solve the mystery (before anyone else did).

Expecting Gen Z to be tech savvy just because they grew up on TikTok is sort of like expecting Boomers to have a deep understanding how radio transmitters work because they grew up watching television.
