So I'm on the NC coast and we are bracing for the run of TS Idalia through the area early morning - evening tomorrow. One of the side effects hurricanes is that they can generate tornado.
Just got an alert for a tornado warning. So I pulled up the NWS storm relative wind velocity data and sure enough 2 clear areas of circulation are seen. I'm the blue dot. 🙃
