I'm in a hostile state but I live in a blue city/ suburb not once have I ever seen a Desantis or Trump sign sticker. My mom knows about the potential strike against our state and we will prepare for it. Am going to talk to her about stocking up just in case the strike occurs

Plesse consider getting involved this Sunday. Share it on and off social media. Action can be a great antidote to frustration.

I already saw the “Stop Pose & Post” event—we can ALL do that! At 4 PM Saturday, stop whatever you’re doing & snap a picture of yourself holding a sign that says “Reinstate the Assault Weapons Ban & Save Lives” then post it to your Social Media & tag to your congresscritters. Easy Peasy!!

I’ve watched the session in question several times and missed what Zephyr did that was worthy of being banned. But then again, I would be shocked if I read/heard actual solutions coming from any Republicans to any issues that concern most Americans.

Given the last few years or even weeks, what she said seems incredibly tame. Let’s just say something else is going on.

I really want to lift up the mods of the SFBA instance: @cd24, @Ingurido, @jeffkibuule

I, a Black woman, have had a marvelous experience on Mastodon because these mods don't play. For being a place-specific instance, SFBA has a very clearly expressed value system and it's reflected in the mods. They are proactive, even-handed, and respectful.

I wish others on and through the could say the same of their instance mods.

Funny, I never used hashtags before joining mastodon—didn’t get them. But early on I was advised to use them since mastodon doesn’t use an algorithm to spoon feed us what AI thinks we want. I actually like the challenge of chosing my own social media experience. I’ve seen so many new & interesting people this way!

Sign-ups continue to increase -- albeit, not at the same rate as in November -- November was a spike.

While Monthly Average Users (MAUs) decreased since November, it's increased again this month (according to @Gargron).

But what's more interesting is that Half Year Average Users (HYAUs) is at a peak.

And we're very close to breaking 1 billion posts per month!

Btw, I’m sighted but I was checking to make sure the caption was there. I found my caption when I noticed the word “ALT” on the picture I posted—I tapped it & a written version of my caption came up.
Hopefully people who need to have a different way to access it.
