Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, has suffered heavy losses in both personnel and military materiel. The high rate of losses is forcing to send units into battle with improvised equipment, saving its limited resources until everything else has failed. It is a sign of weakness in the invading forces which can be overlooked by headlines about Russian advances on multiple fronts.

For normal operation, companies must be able to attract financing in yuan, but Russian banks are in short supply. does not provide them, so you can only rely on the Central Bank and the savings of Russian companies and citizens.

Russia losing a strategic early warning radar system is a new twist in the Ukraine conflict that could have further reaching ramifications.

Satellite imagery confirms a Russian strategic early warning radar site in the southwestern end of the country was substantially damaged in a reported Ukrainian drone attack earlier this week.

The first batch of Ukrainian pilots have graduated from F-16 training at an military base, a crucial step toward putting modern, American-made fighter jets in Ukraine’s skies, Capt. ERIN HANNIGAN, a spokesperson with the Air National Guard, told.

Russian gasoline production fell again for the third week in a row.

During the week from May 13 to May 19, Russian refineries produced 740 thousand tons of gasoline - the minimum volume since October last year.

Compared to the previous week, production fell by another 2.5%, compared to the beginning of May - by 5%, and when compared with the levels of the end of December by 20% (then refineries produced more than 930 thousand tons of gasoline weekly)

's border guard removed more than 20 buoys demarcating shipping lanes from the River on Thursday (May 23), 's PPA said.

Estonia installed the markers in its waters based on the State Borders Act and the buoys' location were agreed by the border agencies in 2022.

However, this year Russia disagreed with the locations of approximately half of the 250 markers. Some of those removed on Thursday morning were those disputed by Russia
