I forum sono ancora il modo migliore per discutere online senza la tossicità e la gamification dei social e #freeforumzone inizierà da ora l'integrazione nel fediverso, benvenuti!!
@eklektikos si il vero spartiacque sono state le app degli smartphone che ti permettevano di essere connesso 24/7 ai social attraverso le notifiche in tempo reale, poi i gruppi e le pagine facebook furono il colpo di grazia.
tapatalk mai usato, vedevo i forum rigorosamente sempre su desktop, ero un purista 😁
@filippodb@socialnetwork@freeforumzone frequentata anch'io qualche community lì, in passato. I forum erano (e sono) ancora comodissimi infatti la maggior parte degli sviluppatori #WordPress lavora ancora sui forum, e non solo loro. Non ho idea di cosa farà StackOverflow ma alla fine, almeno per quanto riguarda il mio settore (accessibilità digitale) nessuna community seria usa i social per l'interazione ma solo per annunci, marketing e pubblicità.
Sono abbastanza d’accordo con quanto dici :) purtroppo però lo sviluppo di Lemmy in questo momento non sta andando in questo senso e mancano ancora molte cose, che forse nemmeno mai verranno fatte (nel breve periodo), per farlo somigliare più a un forum come per esempio le etichette, i tag, categorie o cose simili.
Un forum deve avere determinate caratteristiche per poterlo essere vedi appunto Flarum, Discourse o phpBB e attualmente queste caratteristiche l’interfaccia di Lemmy non ce le ha. Come puoi ben immaginare mi sarebbe piaciuto tipo tantissimo unire il forum con Feddit visto che Feddit già lo gestisco ma il suo uso come forum non mi convince. Ma nemmeno Reddit lo è secondo me e sinceramente pensavo a qualcosa di diverso per Le Alternative. E proprio perché sono cose differenti penso che possano coesistere insieme :)
Stavano sviluppando LemmyBB (proprio per sopperire a questa mancanza) ma il progetto è per ora abbandonato e non funziona con le attuali versioni di Lemmy.
@lealternative bellissimo flarum, mi è sempre piaciuto, è una bellissima evoluzione del concetto di forum adattato all'internet degli smartphone.
Mi sarebbe piaciuto tanto averne uno ma è troppo difficile creare dei forum nei 20s. Ormai la gente è abituata ai messenger e ai social, pretendere che si crei un account per ogni forum scoraggia molti. feddit per me è il miglior compromesso fra i social e i forum.
Però è vero che a lealternative mancava solo il forum, speriamo si federi presto!
vediamo come va... :) un'altra cosa che avevo in mente era un'istanza Lemmy dedicata a Le Alternative (perché secondo me la sola comunità "generica" su Feddit gli sta un po' stretta per la quantità di argomenti che si toccano e che si possono toccare) ma il forum mi è sembrato un po' più adatto sempre se si riesce a fargli prendere piede 😁

Je viens de parcourir quelques fils dans un #forum, celui de #FDroid, pour voir si je trouvais des choses pertinentes sur un sujet que je suis en train d'approfondir.
Die ursprünglichen #Forum'e im #Internet gelten schon länger als #veraltet und die scheinbare alternative Lösung #Reddit hat nun #KI integriert und schnuppern die #User aus. Die wahre #Alternative finden wir wieder im Fediverse und sind ua #kbin / #Mbin so wie #Lemmy. Ja das #Fediverse ist viel mehr als nur #Mastodon und Co und kommuniziert nicht nur auf einem Server, sondern in der #Community (ihr kennt es evt schon)

Have some kind of real-time interface. The chat-like style Spectrum.chat used was great for this (apart from Spectrum (source linked) being slow as hell).
Provide plenty of single sign-on. IndieAuth on by default could be a big help.
Have a cheap/free (at least sponsor open-source projects to be free), dead-simple way to host your own
Other nice-to-haves:
Fediverse support of some kind.
Integration with Discord (hell, using Discord's forums, and bi-directional! It's possible with Discord's API, last I checked).
@devnull@thisismissem I know there are a couple services like Heroku and Pikapods that are pretty cheap (or even free) and might be able to handle it pretty well. I think it's just a matter of streamlining that setup, and although this is probably way out of your power, hosting platforms sponsoring non-profit/open-source projects for free hosting since they often have trouble affording it.

Am 6. Januar 2024 fand in Pikine, Senegal, das sechste Humanistische Forum statt, an dem 180 Gäste in 10 Arbeitsgruppen teilnahmen, die sich jeweils mit einem bestimmten Thema beschäftigten.
Ich habe mal einen Test gestartet. Über das Konto @kuketzforum werden neue Themen, die im Forum erstellt werden, automatisch verlinkt. Es wird nur das initiale Thema verlinkt, keine Antworten darauf. Praktisch eine Art RSS-Feed, der die neuen Beiträge vom Forum im Fediverse verlinkt.
@kuketzblog@kuketzforum find ich ne gute Sache, war damals im alten Forum und hab da viel zum Pinephone geschrieben, bin dann auch bei Lemmy mit und hatte beim dritten Umzug ein wenig die Nase voll. Lese lieber Mastodon und so bekomme ich jetzt wenigstens mit, ob es im Forum was interessantes gibt.
Edit: ein anderer Avatar zwecks schneller Unterscheidung wäre gut.

Hej. Dobrzy ludzie. Gdzie znajdę jakiś mądry i wyważony tekst niemarketingowy i nie przeznaczony dla forum / czatu / pokoju dla klientów a dla społeczności, o tym jak powinna wyglądać moderacja, aby forum było przyjazne? Próbowałem 4 wyszukiwarkami i nie znalazłem takiego nic po polsku.
@warroza moim zdaniem to się nie wyklucza, jeśli sytuacja tego wymaga (tu uważam, że wymaga). :) Po prostu nie postrzegam tej sytuacji li tylko w kategoriach "analitycznych" i teoretycznych, uważam, że rozmawiamy o czymś, co ma głębokie społeczne podłoże i równie duże społeczne implikacje. Stąd mocne porównania i ogólnie duże (dla niektórych zaskakujące) słowa z mojej strony ;) @wariat@arkd@flamenco108@m0bi13
@melano Wydaje mi się, że do ogólnie pojętych norm społecznych i kultury osobistej. Np. nie rozmawiam z obcą, starszą ode mnie o 20 lat osobą jakbyśmy byli kumplami spod bloku. Używam odpowiedniego słownictwa i form grzecznościowych, itp. Przykład pokolenia moich rodziców jest akurat taki sobie, bo moi rodzice mówią tak sobie, a znajomi w ich wieku to zupełnie inny poziom edukacji i kultury i mówią dużo ładniej. @arkd@wariat@kalisz79@warroza@flamenco108@m0bi13
