@kkarhan@neurovagrant Can't you use exFat too? I've found that to be pretty universal. Though I like ext4, it isn't supported well outside of Linux. Unless you're not talking about formatting a storage card?
@kkarhan@neurovagrant Oh, yeah they do. I miss that when I had Android, not really that well for iOS at least not to the same capabilities. But, no, I just checked and most Android does support ExFAT. Only reason I bring it up is that without additional drivers, I don't believe Windows supports reading an EXT4 file system.
After all it's unlikely a need for users similar to how most Desktop users don't need #LTFS because even if they knew what #LTO#TapeDrive|s are they are even less likely to own one...
I did the ardurous process of migrating all my stuff from #NTFS to #LUKS-encrypted #ext4 on all drives and it just works so flawlessly on every Linux machine...
