samus12345, I can’t hear/read Elmer Fudd saying “quiet” without thinking of these guys now:

ummthatguy, And I learned something today. Thanks.
samus12345, I thought this was a recent discovery, but I found a doomworld thread from 2013 where someone pointed out how much it sounded like him.

“Doggone, stubborn, ni…”
gregorum,
ummthatguy, “Is that a rabbit in your pants or are you just happy to see me?”
edit: your first attempt didn’t load, so responded to this one

I love that movie so much! Best neo-noir, even moreso than Bladerunner, Dark City, or The Big Lebowski.
edit: ok, maybe not Lebowski, but it places “high in the runnin”
gregorum, Lebowski is more noir-satire. But, yeah, WFRR is a gem!
ummthatguy, In response to your now ethereal comment, but still relevant to the new. Lebowski absolutely falls under the neo-noir category. We’ve got:
• Reluctant “detective” Lebowski
• Femme fatale Maude
• Red herring “Autobahn”
• Convoluted story
• Narrator, though not necessarily that of the main character
Roger Rabbit/Lebowski/Blue Velvet are more satirical/referential, but still fall within the same range despite their differences.
aeronmelon, Upvoting for the aftermath.
Do the Donald Duck war propaganda cartoons next.
ummthatguy, Thanks. I’ll see what I can cook up.
