Good morning Mastodonians, how is everyone today? Decent start to the day, Lixi had taken a few days off but she was back today so we did a lot of chores and had our game. I'm getting close to the end now, I have side quests to mop up, a few memory points to find and then it's Buh-buh-buh-boss! Battle! Trying to get everything done and every shrine found that I can, so I have as many strength hearts as I can get before I face him. So we did three quests today, found three shrines, then when it was too late to start anything new we went to my favorite stable and exercised Snowmane and Luce. Nice session. Going on with #DCC book 1 now, I cannot wait for book 6 to come out! Have a great day.

hey @lulu_bear, here's the summary for #DCC 6. It's been out for a while as an ebook so I pulled it from Amazon. A pantheon of forgotten gods. An old grudge between a talk show host, an heiress, and the man they shattered along the way. A rapidly deteriorating AI system. An inconvenient tiara upon the head of a friend.
It is bedlam on the eighth floor.
As management reels from the unexpected conclusion of the seventh level, the surviving crawlers stumble onto the eighth and find themselves scattered. It’s a map based on Earth’s final days before the collapse, where ethereal, intangible ghosts of humanity go about their lives, oblivious of the impending doom. Living amongst these ghosts are monsters based in Earth lore. “Legendary” creatures tied to the geographical location they inhabit.
Each team of crawlers is given a task: find and capture six of these beasts. The captured monsters will be turned into cards. Cards that can be summoned into battle again and again. The stronger, the deadlier, the better.
At the end of the floor, the bad guys will also have decks, and they will have some of the most powerful cards available. So it’s crucial to assemble the toughest squad possible.
But, like always, there is a catch. There’s always a catch.
As Carl and Donut know all too well, just because someone is captured, it doesn’t mean they have been tamed.
Her name is Shi Maria. She’s easily the most powerful monster in their area. If they want to survive, they must capture her. But she is no ordinary beast. She’s intelligent. She was once married to a god, a god who is now missing. Her special attack is known to drive one insane. They call her the Bedlam Bride.

One thing I've noticed about this series, no swearing. the #DCC series was absolutely riddled with it. Not pointing fingers, language is so common in books it just rolls off me, but it's nice not to see it. #Ritualist#TCC
I'm not an animal person, and I'm not a cat person, I find cats kind of scary. having said that, I'm growing to love Princess Doughnut. Never thought I would, she irritated the hell out of me at first, but there's just something about her that gets me. #DCC

Bei Lankhmar könnte es sogar noch für das eine oder andere Stretchgoal reichen - und 2 Abenteuer gibt es ja gedruckt nur bei Vorbestellung. Vielleicht ist das eine Überlegung wert…😀

😩 Mein Lieblings-Char stirbt, nachdem er beim Chaos-Fürsten den Finishing Move machte, weil er dessen Rüstung aufheben will & dafür von einem Magma-Tentakel erschlagen wird.
So after some reading and trial and error, I've set up a "couch table oval" to learn and test the decoder functions. Now I can control all switches, the trains and the decoupler from #RocRail. Nice. Next stop: feedback sensors and block sections ...
And yes, this is the actual base plate I'm going to use for the finaly layout (on which I'm still working with SCARM)
