Are the objects arranged in a quincunx? No, they are not.
On hearing that they will be travling to the planet Dysnomia:
"Dysnomia? Is that the thing where you can't do math?"
"No, it's where you can't talk to gnomes."
"We're playing mind games here -- and we're losing!"
A player looking over her character's psionic elemental manipulation powers as the party tries to coax their hexapod crawling vehicles across a raging river:

In Eris Beta-V (a setting book for The Last Parsec), a character is described on p. 78 as "balding and milquetoast". On p. 95, the entry for the same character says he "has black hair and a beard", and has the edges Attractive, Charismatic, Command, Inspire, and Strong-Willed. Look, I recognize that I'm going to have to improvise when the party throws the plot out the window five minutes into the first sessions, but at least give me something consistent to work with!
In #SavageWorlds, the rules wording "Wild Cards can take three Wounds before they're Incapacitated" is confusing. One might think, "It takes one Wound to Incapacitate an Extra, but three to Incapacitate a Wild Card." In fact, it is the fourth Wound that Incapacitates a Wild Card.
Physics problem: Harmonia Station spins to generate gravity. If the rings are a mile in diameter, how fast (in RPMs) does it have to spin to generate 1g?
If I'm going to play Savage Worlds, I'll need the perfect deck of playing cards. I'm using the Last Parsec setting, so I'll want something with space opera art.
Thinking about going lists of random lists; I've got a bunch of those kinds of sites squirreled away.
Might also do another round of #Mothership because I'm working on a #OneShot for #MEPACON. I haven't written about that in a year or so, and the boxed set drops soon (fingers crossed)
Ahhh, found home after a brief, good start of a few weeks in the Fediverse. Looking forward to exploring and supporting tabletop rpgs here. Of late : joined GenCon Online this year, considering design on an rpg and/or system agonistic mini rpg on social interactions and /or relationships and hoping to play in a Blades in the Dark crew and worldbuilding campaign one day (or similar). I'm also an oldie who is Noobie to Glorantha this year. Partly kicked it off playing at ChaosiumCon 2023.

The game supplements I wished I owned are the announced, but never published, sourcebooks for The Day After Ragnorak. I loved the “Conan the Barbarian: 1948” setting when it came out in 2009. The basic setup is that in the waning days of World War II, the Nazis summoned the Midgard Serpent into the real world.
My favorite convention purchase is #SavageWorlds Explorers Edition at #GenCon 2007. At the time, I think I had the 2nd edition Savage Worlds hardcover book, which was a standard RPG format. It didn’t particularly excite me or my group; I bought it more out of curiosity than anything else. #RPG
#RPGaDay23 Old Game You Still Play - The #RPG answer had been #GURPS Lite (1998) which powered our Generically Fast and Furious Lunchtime Game but that campaign wrapped in January.
