I, for one, am devastated Holly did not advance to the finals of Fat Bear Week. In solidarity, I will be hibernating for the remainder of Fat Bear Week.
Voted for 901 and Grazer for #FatBearWeek semifinals. Fingers crossed it's Grazer's year. Looks like she's ahead of previous winner Holly, and if she goes to the final, Chunk was ahead of 901. I think since 901 had 3 cubs, her fat is more impressive than Chunk's.

It's the week where we can stare in awe of our portly ursine friends as they chow their way through literal tons of salmon.
Perusing the #FatBearWeek bracket. I know everybody loves OG Otis - who wouldn't? Still, I think this year should go to one of the VERY FAT female bears. I'm hoping it's Grazer's year. She's just redonculous this year, but Holly and 901 look pretty chonky too.
It's Fat Bear Week at Katmai! The first pic is of Otis when he finally showed up at Brooks at the end of July. The second picture is of Otis yesterday.
