I support people who are for the people. I don't blindly support political parties.
However, the Democratic party is 100% preferable to the Republicans, who have a leader who has no empathy and is only motivated by money, power, and aggrandizement.
Any pol from any party like this is not worthy of support.

I took a pre-dawn drive through rural Will County (south of Chicago) this morning. Lots of great old barns and so many stars. After desperately seeking rural illumination, when the sun finally rose, it felt like an embarrassment of riches, in terms of light and color.
I drove through Dolton, IL today for work. I wanted to find some of the mayor's billboards and portraits posted around town to snap some cell phone pics for historical purposes, but I had a tight schedule, so I didn't get to explore.
We went out for shopping on #Saturday. Met up with a friend and went to Thaliva Indian Kitchen in Park Ridge. It is a place we have been wanting to go to for a while after someone told us it some of the best South Indian in #Chicagoland. We got dosas and finished the day with a South Indian Filter Coffee. Worth a trip out on the Metra!
