The Caldeirão Verde waterfall during a really heavy downpour, which was probably one of the most tropically impressive views in Madeira, Portugal. 🇵🇹 This waterfall is 100 meters high, and the water flows into a huge basin. My entire photo equipment was totally soaked, miraculously nothing was damaged!
Vacation day birding with warblers, tanagers, and more spring migrators was a fun escape into nature with my husband. I love how the peek of cloudy sky behind this Indigo Bunting creates a full moon effect.
A small white-crowned sparrow jumping in the grass underneath bird feeders. These little birds seem to be happy feeding off the ground or from the feeders (as long as there are no finches on the feeder at the same time).
As I was driving around Carson Lake, I spotted a Loggerhead Shrike giving a solo performance. So I stopped for awhile to watch them sing and snapped a few pictures.
The look that I got! "No photography during the concert!"
