Después de unos buenos meses intentando librarme de todo servicio de Google, lo he conseguido con todo (no sólo se puede sino que incluso pueden mejorarse muchos de sus servicios) y sólo falta el móvil.
Después de leer a muchos usuarios y ciertas cuestiones de privacidad/seguridad de dispositivos, parece que la opción más privada/segura y que mejor funciona es pillar, paradójicamente, un Pixel de Google e instalar GrapheneOS. ¿Alguna otra idea por ahí?

No calls or SMS, but quite impressed with a lot of the other functionality. Looking forward to playing with it and learning more. Thanks to everyone who has developed #MobileLinux and all the other bits that make it work.
I'm particularly interested as a parent with kids who will likely be getting phones in the next few years. I need to daily drive to convince myself it's the right option for them 👍
💩 Google ne donne aucun plan d'action, aucune annonce, au sujet du bug de la mise à jour Android 14 qui bloque totalement leur propre ligne de smartphone (ça touche au moins Pixel 6 et Pixel 7 selon les retours, Pixel 8 peut-être ?).
Si même le développeur d'Android fait de la merde avec ses propres modèles, ça me donne encore moins confiance dans l'OS.
On n'est pas gâtés avec ce Pixel 6. Déjà que le GPS était bien pourri, inutilisable et dangereux pour de la conduite… Quelle déception. :grr:

Purchased a Google Pixel 6a phone specifically to install GrapheneOS. The web installer/instructions for Linux (Debian) worked like a charm: https://grapheneos.org/install/web

Suppose it was a decent deal if Google kills it off before a full term.
Only used it for the #youtubepremium and #googleplaypass subscriptions, and I think it was still cheaper than buying the phone and those plans piecemeal. IIRC.
I'll upgrade from my Pixel 6 when a phone comes out with upgradeable storage and a removable battery again. As this seems unlikely to happen in the near term, I'll just root it and install GrapheneOS or LineageOS when updates stop coming. #grapheneos#pixel#pixel6#righttorepair
