Today this family #tech support guy learned that some (?) smartwatches register themselves with the phone as Bluetooth headsets, so that calls can end up coming through the watch even when someone answers on the phone.
It seems weird to me that that's on by default for the #PixelWatch, and a little bit of web searching shows I wasn't the only one taken aback. Turning off that dubious feature also apparently will save battery.
Anyone got a #pixelwatch2? I get my "not enough steps" buzz at 50 past the hour if I'm below the threshold, but that is it. No notif tells me how many left, and the watch face modules don't seem to include it.
Pretty glaring omission if I'm not just doing something wrong.
I can count the number of times on both hands that I have encountered someone wearing an #Android Watch. I have never seen anyone wear a #PixelWatch before though.
Maybe I should consider this a potential Christmas gift for some of my Fandroid relatives‽
They have refused to embrace the iCult & are ignorant about how awesome #Apple, #iPhone & #AppleWatch’s are! 😜
Google has teased the Pixel Watch 2. The clip indicates that the wearable will be more durable than the first model thanks to IP68 dust- and water-resistance.
When I upgraded from a Pixel 7 Pro to a Pixel Fold, Google was offering a free Pixel Watch with every Pixel Fold preorder. Since I already had one, I offered it up to my buddy Matt and he posted about it. Google saw it and did something cool and sent us both free new Pixel Watch bands! These look dope!
I just got this super cute #pride watch face for my #PixelWatch. I love it. It's also got all the different flags and a bunch of different symbols and words you can use.
