I am both intrigued and frustrated by today's reading recommendation by Dr. Susanne Thiessen via the IPAC newsletter. As a newcomer to Canada and also to the #PublicAdministration / #CommunityDevelopment discipline, I'd like to know more about specific instances where people have worked "in a good way" with Indigenous (First Nations, Metis, and/or Inuit) communities and compare them to times where they have not and what people can do to repair those relationships.
I mean that's why I know almost noone in #IT working in #PublicSector:
One would get bossed around by #TechIlliterate#ConcreteHeads and have neother good promotion options beyond maybe a paygrade every 5 years and neither get bonuses not stock options for enduring shitty cubicles in buildings that are ugly inside and out...
