In "Threshold" we see, somewhat, the things that might have been. When they were mapping out #StarTrekVoyager the producers had originally envisioned Tom Paris as a love interest for Captain Janeway. I can't recall if it was Jeri Taylor or Kate Mulgrew that talked them out of it, but thank the Prophets it didn't come to that. However, this episode did win an Emmy, so, maybe that's what people wanted to see? #AllStarTrek@allstartrek
They call me Junior's worm Good morning, how are you? I'm Junior's worm I'm interested in brains I'm not a real Junior but I am a real worm I am an actual worm I eat brains like a worm
I’m watching the Voyager episode “Bride of Chaotica” and while I LOVE the episode, it felt a bit strange that the crew seemed to be enjoying themselves while Chaotica was killing quite a few members of a species they had just met.
I've been rewatching Voyager and it has really stood out how well the CGI of the later seasons has held up to the passage of time. I'd have to say that the crash scene in "Timeless" blew me away when it came out, but it still looks fantastic.
I rewatched "Dark Frontier" last night and the scene where they are installing the transwarp coil into the Delta Flyer was rough.
What are some of your "how did they pull that off" visual effects moments in #StarTrek?
I am going to be watching "Cold Fire" with #AllStarTrek if anyone is up this late on a Sunday. I always skip this one. Although Gary Graham is wonderful as Soval in #StarTrekEnterprise, his one-time role here as Tanis in #StarTrekVoyager is awful, imho. Still, I really need a rewatch. As I said I always skip this one on my Voyager rewatches. @allstartrek
On today's #GreatestTrek, Tilly dusts off her away team skills to help Burnham visit a pre-warp society to find the next clue, and they both find themselves in a footrace that might not be a walk in the park.
On today's #GreatestGen Dr. Mark and Janeway are abducted by a couple of bad eggs. Dr. Mark is forced to impersonate his fellow crew members but his captors may have overlooked his willingness to cooperate.
Today, April 22, is Ancestor’s Eve, an evening of reflection in honor of those who came before. The holiday was established by Neelix in 2375 and celebrated on board USS Voyager, NCC-74656 (Star Trek: Voyager, s05e23 “11:59”, 1995)
As someone who was barely 4 years old when #VOY went off the air, I would like at least one (1) #StarTrek series to make it to 7 seasons at least once in my waking memory...
"Eye of the Needle" stands out in #StarTrekVoyager because they show Kate Mulgrew in a nighty with her hair down and that is with Kate Mulgrew's insistence that a strong women leader need not be sexualized, hence Kate's conflict with Jeri Ryan. This is the only time in the 7 seasons of Voyager that they got away with attempting to make Kate sexually appealing. Kate Mulgrew did a great job preventing them from doing that. A true feminist. #AllStarTrek@allstartrek
No spoilers here, this is pretty early in the game.
Look at the level of detail in the motion capture, here! You can see every little emotion that they're feeling, even the little smirk that Avoy makes when the guards refuse to let her in. The way Erand struggles to get up off the cart.
Sorry about the audio glitches, Geforce Replay must have been struggling.
