I am a 27 year old trans woman from the UK and I am hoping to raise funds for my transition. Waiting times on the NHS for transgender healthcare can be up to five years, just for an initial consultation. Hi, me and my partner are currently unhoused. We are both queer, trans, and gender nonconforming, which has made it difficult to find work or resources. We're both vegan anarchists who have engaged in mutual aid. We struggle with our mental and physical health but have overall been pushing through. We're living out of our car right now, but we might have somewhere we can stay for a while. The only issue is its cross country, and we can't afford to get there yet. It's been difficult to find a place to get back on our feet. If you have any extra funds and can send them over, it'll go to gas and food. Thank you.
@mutualaid My friend ended up getting kicked out and had their food thrown away bcuz their relatives didn't consider it "real food". If you could give anything to help them get back their room, it'd be a great help. hey all.
i didnt hear back from even one job application in the last month. even after that post looking for openings that got nearly 700 boosts. this was basically my last chance. and i found nothing. and i can't afford rent.
it's two weeks out, but it will take me a while to raise $1300. and that's a number that lets other bills fall to the wayside, including credit card bills.
i physically cannot pack up all of my belongings in time if push comes to shove. i have a disabled spouse and two dogs who need a place, too.
